Your challenge:

Your objective is to strengthen our analytical and methodical competences to answer various questions from research and development.
Your responsibilities:Your qualifications:- You supervise and improve physical measurement setups for the characterization of solar cells/modules and the materials used therein.
- You develop characterization approaches to answer new questions form the R&D teams.
- You support the global sites in the analysis of complex problems.
- You successfully completed your scientific master’s degree, a doctorate is an advantage.
- Ideally, you already have experiences within the PV industry and in working in international companies.
- You have a good working knowledge of a wide variety of physical characterization methods for semiconductors and thin films at your command (e.g. C-V/DLTS, Hall-Effect measurements, Spectroscopy: UV-Vis/FTIR/Raman, Ellipsometry, SEM/EDX/EBIC, Lock-In Thermography).
- You are familiar with operation, maintenance and quality management of measurement devices as well as with typical programming languages used in this context (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, C/C++).
- On a personal level, you work in an analytical, structured, target-oriented manner. Being a good team player and having an organizational aptitude are similarly two of your strengths.
- You are proficient with statistical methods for analysis of larger data sets (e.g. Origin, MiniTab, Excel) and are confident in MS Office.
- Furthermore you can communicate in German and English fluently, enabling you to work in an international team.
- You are prepared for business travels to our global production sites.
