Solution Sales -VMware (gn)

This fulltime role can be based anywhere in Germany.



  • Creation of end to end customer solutions
  • Drive sales through campaigns, pre-sales and support of events
  • Consistently reach or exceed quota using a consultative and solution selling approach
  • Help envision and guide customers regarding IT-strategy and design
  • Further development of the solutions portfolio
  • Maintain a business and technical understanding of VMware solutions, supporting vendors and partners
  • Advising customers on licensing questions and contracts
  • Maintain contacts with the vendor VMware, manufacturers and VAR assist partners
  • Work with virtual teams such as Technical Solutions and Sales department
  • Provide support to different Sales teams
  • Create sales material within area of expertise
  • Prepare and conduct workshops

Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in successfully selling technology services and solutions
  • Technical background in architecture, pre-sales or technical vendor sales
  • Understanding of end to end infrastructure solutions including hardware, networking, storage, virtualization, management and automation
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in direct sales model as well as business and strategy planning
  • Strong IT industry business acumen
  • Ability to drive results through remote teams in a fast-paced matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Organized and analytical work style
  • Team player with a high degree of self-motivation and results orientation
  • good knowledge of German and English, spoken and written
