PiCockpit.com is about to revolutionize the way Raspberry Pi users work with their Raspberry Pis. Using a webinterface and the popular app concept, users can solve their problems without having to learn Linux. Will you help us to make the Raspberry Pi users happier and more productive? Your Tasks:

• development of the picockpit.com frontend (in Vue.js + Vuetify)
• development of the picockpit-client software client which runs on the Raspberry Pis (in node.js)
• creating additional 'apps' for users (PiCockpit apps) using JavaScript
• integration of additional communication channels (e.g. WebRTC), to allow development of advanced apps
• testing the solution

Your strengths:

• Solid experience with JavaScript ( 3+ years)
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• Quick grasp and willingness to learn new technologies (e.g. MQTT)
• Excellent written and spoken command of English

Your knowledge and experience matter to us most - not formal degrees (like bachelor in computer science / information technology / Master in Informatik-Studium / Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung).

• learn and grow your skills in Vue.js & Vuetify for frontend development

• learn to work with Linux on a deeper integration level (e.g. systemd, packaging for Debian derivates, ...)
