Within our cross-functional team you work with agile development methods on the further development of existing and the implementation of new product features. In doing so, you pay particular attention to the documentation and quality assurance of your work. As a team player, you are proactively involved in improving our products and enjoy contributing your ideas.
Your specific tasks
- Conception, extension and maintenance of a complex, automated software test system at different test levels
- Assessment and control of test coverage and balancing of test effort at different levels (e.g. unit tests vs component tests)
- Conception, provision and monitoring of test and quality metrics
- Mentoring of fellow developers with regard to test quality and process improvements
What you bring to the job
- Proven experience in automated testing of complex software systems
- Experience in automated browser app testing (e.g. Selenium, Playwright or comparable)
- Experience with continuous integration and version control systems
- Knowledge of test report generation methodologies and suitable report formats
- Familiarity with CLI tooling
- Familiarity with different test methodologies such as BDD
- Desire for teamwork and initial experience mentoring colleagues
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of TCP/IP and application protocols
- Nice-to-have: experience with Rust, Go and Angular test tooling
