As an Team Lead in the Software Development you will be responsible for people management of assigned employees with main focus on development and the associated personnel and entrepreneurial accountability in your area of responsibility. You as a Team Lead acts as an important role model and be the link between your team members and the upper management.

Delivery Team Lead is accountable and responsible for:

■ Taking over management responsibility of a larger team of developers

■ Responsible for the whole employee lifecycles from on- to offboarding

■ Regular communication & interaction and team development with appropriate measures

■ Active creation of a sustainable feedback and failure culture

■ Active design of cross-team cooperation where interfaces exist

■ Continuously recognizing, promoting and developing employee’s potential and planning of needed training

■ Conducting regular employee one-on-ones and giving continuously feedback

■ Conducting individual performance reviews within the annual appraisal dialogue and deriving development goals

■ Responsible for the Team performance & successful delivery in terms of quality and customer satisfaction

■ Active participation in shaping the divisional strategy, supporting the design, optimization and implementation of service processes by proper team development

■ Engaging in the development of new services to allocate an efficient and effective work force

■ Supporting in customer escalations and critical situations on request

■ University degree - preferably in the field of IT - or a comparable qualification

■ Several years of professional experience in the IT or SAP environment, especially software development area (good and broad knowledge of different programming languages and their purpose would be beneficial)

■ Ideally you are already at management level (L4) and have leadership experience or being part of the Leadership Development Program

■ Strong leadership skills and clear people focus

■ Positive mindset and attitude

■ Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with conflicts

■ Entrepreneurial thinking paired with pragmatism and driving results

■ Strong sense of taking personal responsibility

■ Self-confidence to be a role model for others

■ Business fluent in written and spoken German and English

■ Medium willingness to travel
