In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Security Architect with a Security Solution Design Specialty, you will play a crucial role in supporting engagement pursuit teams in complex, multi-tower, cross-line of business, and international bids. You will utilize your area subject matter expertise to design and implement security solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design Security Solutions: Define the Security Subsystem and Security solution architecture, and integrate security across the technical and business solution to ensure the right level of security and protection for clients' businesses.

• Evaluate Solution Components: Assess and select solution components, including hardware, software, process, and service components, to ensure deployment architectures for complex, competitive, winning, integrated solutions.

• Support Sales Efforts: Collaborate directly with clients to understand their security needs and provide expertise to support sales efforts.

• Develop Integrated Solutions: Ensure security solutions are integrated across the technical and business solution to meet the specific needs of our clients.

• Gather Requirements: Perform requirements gathering to inform the design of security solutions that meet client needs.

• Security Solution Design Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing security solutions that meet specific client needs, ensuring the right level of security and protection for their businesses.

• Technical Integration Knowledge: Experience in integrating security across technical and business solutions, including defining Security Subsystems and Security solution architectures.

• Solution Component Evaluation: Experience with evaluating and selecting solution components, including hardware, software, process, and service components, to ensure deployment architectures for complex solutions.

• Security Requirements Gathering: Experience with performing requirements gathering to inform the design of security solutions that meet client needs.

• Cross-Domain Security Expertise: Experience in designing security solutions for complex, multi-tower, cross-line of business, and international environments.

• German language skill at least C1 level, B2 level in English

• Cross-Domain Security Knowledge: Experience with designing security solutions for complex, multi-tower, cross-line of business, and international environments, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs.

• Advanced Technical Integration: Experience in integrating security across technical and business solutions, including defining Security Subsystems and Security solution architectures, to deliver comprehensive security solutions.

• Competitive Solution Evaluation: Experience with evaluating and selecting solution components, including hardware, software, process, and service components, to ensure deployment architectures for complex, competitive solutions.
